OUTSIDE SUPERVISON

Begins 15 mins before the first bell (8:20am)

Ends 15 mins after school (2:45pm)

Student safety is the highest priority of Richard Bulpitt Elementary. Therefore, we make every effort to ensure that all students are under appropriate supervision until they return to you at the end of their school day.

Students should be picked up from school after the end of the school day, 2:30pm. The school provides for a fifteen minute supervision period after the end of the school day for student pick-up. The school asks parents, guardians, and caregivers to be mindful of the extra burden placed on the office when students need to be supervised after supervision ends.

If you are going to be late picking up your students please contact the office at 604-888-5393

ARRIVAL & PICK-UP – Each morning the students are asked to line up outside, either at their classroom door or at the spot designated by their teacher. The teacher will greet them at their designated areas when the bell rings. Students should be outside until the welcome bell at 8:35am unless they are working with their teacher. Students should be dressed appropriately for current weather conditions (winter coats, boots, hats, mittens, raincoats, umbrellas, sunscreen, sunglasses, etc.)

Please remember to keep the drive-through/pick-up lanes in the parking lot clear, especially at the front entrance of the school.

Parking is always challenging at the school, given the size of our parking lot and the number of parents who choose to drive their children to school.

Please make every effort to adhere to the Township of Langley parking regulations and think of safety first at all times.

We are asking for everyone’s cooperation in adhering to the safety guidelines that are in place with regards to parking.  We have been advised that the school drive-way is considered a public roadway and can have its safety rules enforced by the RCMP.

Thank-you to the parents who are willing to assist the school with this.
