Information

Food Bank

Our school has a long-standing tradition of collecting for the Food Bank. As we try to combine community support with COVID-smart programs, we will not be collecting items for the Food Bank this year, but instead will be collecting donations through school cash online, as this offers the Food Bank the most flexibility and reduced risk.

Library Website

All students have scheduled time in the RBE Learning Commons. Check out the Learning Commons website to see some highlights of what we’re doing there. Click the graphic below to go.

Alternative Fundraiser

Due to the unprecedented nature of COVID-19 we have been limited in the ability to hold regular events to fundraise for our staff and students. This year the PAC would like to offer parents a new way to donate directly to the PAC, for those who do not wish to purchase goods or have limited time to participate in events.

A direct donation of $40 would be the equivalent to your child raising $275 through fundraising activities (Purdy’s, Neufelds, etc.).   Funds raised go towards supporting teachers in their classrooms, busses for field trips, programs such as Dance Pl3y, Saleema Noon and more!

If you wish to make a direct donation, please send an e-transfer to bulpittpac@outlook.com with direct donation in the Message line.  Please note, at this time we are unable to provide tax receipts.

Something to read (or watch)

  • The flooding and water damage throughout BC has been devastating to see. So many livelihoods are at risk, and so many lives will be impacted. There has been much said in the news about Sumas Lake, which once lay where the current floods in Abbotsford are. This short film about it was released back in February, and gives a bit of information on the area.

  • Kids hear about things like our ongoing challenges with flooding and infrastructure damage as a province. This video from Emerging Minds in Australia gives suggestions for talking with kids about stressful events like natural disasters.
