Quote(s) of the week

Something to read…
- The infographic about car colours last week was interesting to me (I’m a car guy, after all, despite driving boring cars), but this one is even more interesting. It summarizes the Japanese concept of ‘Ikigai’ ( 生きがい ) of ‘the secret to a joyful life.’ While the internet is (of course) full of self-help pages that might suggest one find one’s Ikigai, it maybe isn’t a grandiose idea at all. Regardless, I hope that every member of the RBE community finds themselves as close to the center of this Venn diagram as they can possibly be.

- To give the kids an idea of the age some of our staff grew up in, this was educational television in Mr. Oliver’s day. It still makes me chuckle, I have to admit, which might account for some of my ‘best’ jokes.
