2024-25 District Calendar
The 2024-25 District Calendar has been approved by the board and posted to the district website. A more detailed school calendar with our own additional dates and events will come out later this spring.
Concert Tickets
Because the majority of families have reserved one show, we will be releasing another round of tickets for families who would like to go to more than one show. These will be released on Tuesday April 30th.
Please, if you do not plan on attending a show do not reserve seats, please leave these for families that want to attend.
I.D.E.A. Summit – May 7 at Langley Events Centre
Come see entrepreneurship and creativity in action at the I.D.E.A. Summit!
I.D.E.A. stands for Innovation, Design, Entrepreneurship and Altruism.
Students from across the District will be participating and competing throughout the day in the Market Showcases, Thinkology and Design Challenges, Pitch Challenges, and the I.D.E.A Summit Finale. The finishers will be awarded prizes which have been generously donated by the local business community.
Join us at the Langley Events Centre (Building B-Fieldhouse) located at 7888 200th Street in Langley on May 7, 2024 from 9:15 am – 3:00pm. For more information and to view the schedule, click here.
Track & Field
Track is coming for grades 4 & 5. Coaches Moore, Wells and Nahal will be running practices after school on Mondays, and the meet is on June 6. We’re looking forward to having lots of Bulldogs come out to participate.

Spring Fling Classroom Baskets
For this year’s Spring Fling we will be having a silent auction to help with our fundraising efforts.
In addition to our community donations, we are asking our classrooms to help us build gift baskets of varying themes.
Classrooms have been paired up, and themes have been assigned! Watch your emails to see what theme your class has, and look for the Google Sheet sign up!

Boston Pizza Fun Lunch Order Deadline – Tuesday, April 30th
Please make sure you submit your Boston Pizza Fun Lunch Order and PAY IT IN FULL by 11:59pm Tuesday,April 30th here: https://munchalunch.com/schools/richardBulpitt/
If you do not, your child will not receive their Fun Lunch on Friday May 10th.

Spring Fling Planning Meeting – Site Walkthrough – Wednesday, May 1st at 6:30 PM
We will meet at the front entry of the school and take a walk around the school, look at the activities/vendors/etc. and try to figure out the best placement for everything. If you can come, please do Kiddos welcome!
General PAC Meeting – Monday, May 13th
Please join us for the May General PAC Meeting on Monday May 13th at 7 PM in the Richard Bulpitt Elementary School Library.

We are looking to fill the following positions for the 2024/25 school year:
- Hot Lunch Co-coordinator – Admin position
- Treasurer
- Member at Large (two positions available)
Come to our May General PAC Meeting to get more information about these roles, and see how you can get involved!
The election for these roles will happen at our PAC Annual General Meeting on June 10th.

- It is my hope that you don’t need any of this information (though I know that some of you already have). This is the Canadian Guideline on Concussion in Sport. It’s a very detailed document about a very important topic. This Concussion Recognition Tool is a nice, concise guide intended for coaches, parents, and even teammates to know what to look for if a concussion in an athlete (or playground participant) is suspected.
