    Picture Proofs

    Picture Proofs are here and either came home Friday, or will be coming home with students Monday.

    If your child missed photo day retake day will be on November 15th.

    Emergency Preparedness

    Well, one earthquake off the BC is the kind of thing we sort of get accustomed to. But three in a couple of weeks actually got my attention, and I paid some attention to how well I’m prepared at home. BC has plenty of useful resources to help.

    While we’re thinking about emergency preparedness, it’s important that the school have both the contact info verification form and the emergency release form that Ms. Davies sent out a couple of weeks ago filled in and returned to the school. Thanks to all of you who have already looked after this. If you haven’t yet, please get those back to us as soon as possible.

    Now I’m off to refresh our 72-hour supplies.

    Community Values Coupon Books 

    Our Community Values Coupon Book fundraiser is coming to an end. All unsold books and payments need to be returned by Monday, October 7th. 

    The books are $35. 

    There are 3 ways to buy a book:

      • CASH – Put the money in an envelope or Ziplock with child’s name and Div on it
      • CHEQUE – Payable to: RBE PAC (put child’s name and div in the memo line)
      • MUNCH A LUNCH – https://munchalunch.com/schools/bulpitt = Don’t return the order form

    Don’t forget that the top selling class with money and books in on time will win a field trip to the Vancouver Zoo. The second top selling class with money and books in on time will win a pizza party!

    HiFive Chicken Fun Lunch Order Deadline – Tuesday, October 8th

    Please make sure you submit your HiFive Chicken Fun Lunch Order and PAY IT IN FULL by 11:59pm Tuesday, October 8th here: https://munchalunch.com/schools/richardBulpitt/

    If you do not, your child will not receive their Fun Lunch on Friday October 18th.

    Please ensure that you order by the deadlines so your child doesn’t miss out! Orders must be fully paid or they will be cancelled.

    Class Parent Representative 

    This year we are asking parents to take on the role of class parent to ease communication between the PAC and teachers. The class parents will be able to assist teachers in matters with Fun Lunch, fundraising, and other PAC related activities. It’s a great way for you to get involved in your child’s classroom. You’ll be updated with new information directly from the PAC. It requires minimal time commitment (max 15 min/week) on your part and most of the role can be done through email. 

    Divisions 6, 15, 16, 17, 19, and 25 still need class parents. Thank you to those of you who have stepped up! 

    We would love to have these roles filled as soon as possible. We will be holding Google Meet meetings tomorrow (Monday, Oct 7th) and Wednesday Oct 16th at 7 PM to give an introduction to the role, go over responsibilities and answer any questions.

    If you are interested or have any questions please email bulpittpac@outlook.com with your name, division number, and your interest in being a class parent. Please let your child’s teacher know that you’ll be taking on this role too! 

    Don’t forget about Spirit Wear Orders – Order deadline is October 15th

    For Grade 5 students, grad hoodie size selection will be done through School Cash Online. Sample hoodies are making their way through the Grade 5 classrooms. Please make sure that you submit your orders by October 15th.  

    Halloween Dance – Thursday, October 24th

    Get ready for some spooktacular fun! The Halloween Dance is coming up on October 24.

    This year we’ll have two time slots: 5-7 PM, 7:30-9:30 P

    Everyone (adults, children, babies) needs a ticket. Costumes are encouraged! 

    Tickets are $4 (each ticket purchase comes with a glowstick)
