If you are interested in joining a group, or in adding a culture, please advise Mr. Oliver by filling in this quick survey. We will have an organizational meeting for organizers on Monday, February 6 at 2:00 in the library. If you already signed up, please expect an email from Mr. Oliver introducing you to others who expressed interest in sharing the same culture. Thank you for contributing to this fantastic learning experience for our students.

Join us on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 for a LEAP information session. In this session, you will learn more about the program, student and parent/guardian expectations, and have the opportunity to ask staff questions.
Date: Tuesday, February 7, 2023
Time: 5:30 pm
Place: Fort Langley Elementary, School Gym (8877 Bartlett St, Langley)
If you have any questions about the information session or program, please contact Fort Langley Elementary Principal Logan Kitteringham at lkitteringham@sd35.bc.ca
Parents with children who are currently in the LEAP program and have a child who plans to enter Kindergarten in September 2024, do not need to attend an info session. Parents that have already attended a LEAP info session are not required to attend this February 7th meeting.

Langley Fine Arts Middle/Secondary Info Session – Monday, February 6, 2023

For parents of current grade 5 or older students. This information is specific to the older grades.
Are you looking for a program that encourages secondary students to EXPLORE, CREATE, and INSPIRE? Langley Fine Arts is inviting students and their families to an information session to learn more about secondary programming streams including Dance, Drama, Music, Visual Arts, Photography, and Writing. This unique, publicly funded, K-12 fine arts school located in historic Fort Langley, combines provincial curriculum with high-level courses that develop aesthetic intelligence in student artists. Administrators and staff will share information about programs and answer questions. Join us on Monday, February 6th at 6pm in RE Mountain Secondary School’s library. To increase accessibility, this information session is being hosted at a location that is central to families in the Langley School District. For more information and to register, please click here.

Langley Secondary Musical Theatre Company would like to invite you to see this year’s show, Mary Poppins! (We had hoped to also stream the show, but Disney has removed all their full shows from the streaming license, so live is the only way to see the show.)
We have a cast and crew of 50 students plus a full orchestra made up of students and community members, all working hard to make the magic of the show come to life. Audiences of all ages will enjoy the story of the world’s most famous nanny.
See below for show times and the link for purchasing tickets online. You can also pay in cash at the door ($12 for seniors or students, $14 for adults). Just reserve your seats by emailing lssmarypoppins@gmail.com with the show date and number of seats requested.
