Information
Big, big thanks!
Thanks to all of our community members who adjusted their routines on Thursday for the installation of our expansion’s ground floor. The work went very smoothly, and we’re excited for the result. Mr. Oliver is also excited about how many people were able to walk at least part way to the school. We should do that more often!
Students were fascinated by how there were cubbies and coat hooks already installed, and by how they could picture the classrooms as they saw parts become a whole. I talked wo a number of future builders, engineers, and crane operators as we watched. What a great career exploration opportunity! In case you missed it, here’s a video sample of what we got to see!

Walnut Grove Day Camps
Hello Parents at Richard Bulpitt! Our team at Walnut Grove Day Camps is hosting summer camps again for school aged kids this July, just up the road at Alex Hope Elementary school. Our week-long multisport camps include a variety of sports, games, and activities to keep your kids moving, learning, and having a blast. Our camps run each week in July on a similar schedule to school hours (9am-3pm). Designed and run by local teachers and coaches, we’ve created our high-quality programs to focus on a healthy blend of fun and development. Whether your child is a seasoned athlete or just starting out, our program is designed to be inclusive and welcoming to kids of all skill levels. We want to see kids grow athletically, socially, and personally. To register or learn more, check out our website at https://www.wgdaycamps.ca.

Chopped Leaf & Fuel Fun Lunch Order Deadline – Tuesday, June 4th
Please make sure you submit your Chopped Leaf & Fuel Fun Lunch Order and PAY IT IN FULL by 11:59pm Tuesday, June 4th here: https://munchalunch.com/schools/richardBulpitt/
If you do not, your child will not receive their Fun Lunch on Friday June 14th.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to change one of our vendors for the June 14th Fun Lunch day.
If you ordered fun lunches for June 14th from Wheatella:
- Their hot dogs will be replaced with Hot Dogs from Fuel Catering.
- Their treats will be substituted where possible from Tracy Cakes Bakery.

Please verify that you have complete lunches ordered for your child(ren) on Munchalunch.
If you have any questions please email Zoe at hotlunchbulpitt@outlook.com.

Quote(s) of the week

Something to read (or watch)…
But where are the video games???
Need a pick-me-up?
- It is with some horror that I read occasional stories about orcas (one of my ‘favourite’ animals, in case your child is wondering…) sinking boats in the Mediterranean. This study suggests that the attacks are nothing more sinister than the whales having fun.
- And finally,
